Someone has done a really nice job of one of the bracers from the archery leatherwork gallery: http://forums.armourarchive.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=114711. Nice to see such a good job, and that one of my photos shows detail that none of the others have.

I just found your entry here as I was trying to figure out where I found that awesome picture. Id did find another image of the entire bracer that is a line drawing from a document published in 1922. The Antiquaries Journal, Volume 2, pages 208-210 are regarding the bracer. I found it on a midnight trip through Google Books. I will post the image on the AA. I just wish I had found it before I had hardened the leather. It reveals a border decoration on the back side.
